Sharlee's Ballet recital was at Reynolds Performing Arts Center on OU's campus. It was such a wonderful recital and so proud of Sharlee Kay! She did a great job! Happy Easter to all our friends and family!! We hope you had a good one; we are so very grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ and for his sacrifice on our behalf. I asked my oldest son Brayden what he thought Easter was all about and he said... Sharing, Giving and Receiving!! I thought that was perfect!! :) We hope that this season and the rest of this year that we can find ways to show service to those around us just like our Savior would do. Love to all!! Elder Dallin H. Oaks warns us that "The treasure of our hearts- our priorities-should not be the destructible and temporary things of this world. " How do we set priorities? Elder Russell Ballard taught: "Find some quiet time regularly to think deeply about where you are going and what you will need to do to get there. Jesus, our explemplar, often "withdrew himself into the wilderness and prayed. We need to do the same thing occasionally to rejuvenate ourselves spiritually as the Savior did.

This past little while has been one trial after the next. It seems as though it was never ending; you are supposed to feel joy and happiness after having a new baby. Don't get me wrong I was so happy to not be pregnant anymore but it was a struggle when we brought Shelbi home. I wanted so badly to nurse, and I couldn't do that. I wanted so badly to get on a routine but it just didn't happpen due to my sickness. I have realized that through it all, I have relied more on my Savior more than ever before in my entire life.

Last week, my body was racked with so much sickness that my fevers that I had been having for days spiked to 104. My body wasn't right, I was sick and couldn't get out of bed. I couldn't even move to pick my baby up to even nurse her; I knew something was wrong. So I had Jon call my mom to come over to stay with the kids so he could take me to the ER. I was so scared but knew I needed to receive some medical attention. Sure enough after four hours of being in the ER, they found that I had a kidney infection, my white blood count was 20,000 (extremely high) and my blood pressure was 77/43 way low. My body was septic and had a massive infection. My doctor said later that a lot of women after giving birth get a Urinary tract infection or a bladder infection and they don't even know it. Well that was my case, I had a UTI for weeks and didn't know it until it went straight to my kidneys. Crazy stuff.

Anyhow, needless to say I was admitted and had to stay in the hospital to recover for four whole days. During this time, I was away from Jon, the kids and my newborn baby. It was the worst time in my life, I was depressed, detached, hopeless, and felt like I was cheated. Mind you, we had decided and felt like our family was complete. So I was done having babies, I wanted my last one to be the best experience ever and I felt like I didn't get that like I was robbed of this precious time. However, I realized with the power of the priesthood that i would be made well and that my family would be blessed during this trying time.

I realized that nothing is on our "time table", it is all on the Lord's time and in his hands. I was so vulnerable and so fragile and realized that my body was so sick and I needed to get well for my family and for my children. I returned home this past Monday Feb. 28th and it has never been better. I am getting better each day, finding my strength and energy, I'm so in love with being present for my children and taking care of my precious baby girl Shel. My family is precious, and I realized that it could all have been taken away from me if I hadn't listened to my body and the promptings of the spirit.

I love my family and the blessings from heaven have flooded our home with meals from ward, cards, prayers, well wishes, phone calls, visits, taking kids to school for me, picking up kids. You name it it has happened; people are remarkable. Family is everything and the Savior is always there in our darkest hours. I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all their prayers, they truly were felt and I couldn't have got through it without them.

The Day we Welcomed Shelbi Elizabeth...

Now, we are a family of six! Love our sweet children! :)

On 1/31/11, We welcomed another precious daugther~Shelbi Elizabeth!
She weighed 7lbs. 4 oz. 19 1/2 inches long; the morning started out at 6:30am, water broke at around 8:30 am, was in labor for about 1 1/2, epidural, right side numb and left side could feel everything. Not fun at all, but Shelbi was ready and with one push she was born a little after noon! I was so drugged and shocked at how fast she came that I can hardly remember everything after that. All I can remember is seeing her be put on my chest and looking at her for the very first time and feeling so completely in love and overwhelmed at the same time.

Dr. Waterman has delivered three out of the 4 Biggs children and all my sisters kids, proud moment for our very special doctor needless to say she is a part of our family! Love her!

My little sister Mindy is an amazing seamstress and covered my entire car seat with this amazing fabric! I absolutely love it, Thanks Jo so very much!

Needless to say, after the drugs wore off I truly was filled with so much joy, love and an overwhelming sense of peace that I have my family here on this earth. I will never forget the moment they wheeled my bed to the third floor and I saw my other three kiddos~Brayden, Sharlee and Luke and them running to my bedside and yelling "MOMMY" MoMMY" my eyes filled with tears. It was a beautiful moment and then being able to see them hold Shelbi for the first time was so precious and dear to my heart. I have my precious children here and I'm so thankful for my Heavenly Father for blessing our family with another sweet and healthy baby girl!

She is now a little over a week old and I am relishing in all the special moments that I know will go by so quickly, Here are some pictures of our baby girl Shel Bel!

13th Article of Faith: 2011 Youth Mutual Theme

We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

I absolutely love this year's mutual theme, it is encouraging, uplifting, gives you spiritual strength, and it truly is a testimony of what we believe as members of the church. This week we had our YW New Beginnings and decided that the theme of the evening was going to be centered around "We Believe" taken from the 13th Articles of faith. We made it so simple this year in which allowed the spirit to be there during our meeting, I have realized that to simplify is the best way!

We have a total of 10 active YW and are gaining 5 new Beehives by June of this year. So exciting, I started out with 6 active and that was over two years ago. Our ward and the YW's program is truly being blessed and we are so happy for our little YW family. These are the little gifts that we made for our YW this year:

13 days and counting....

I'm so impatient lately, counting down the days, organizing, more organizing, planning meals for the next few weeks, planning, getting ready for New Beginnings next week, organizing the next six weeks for my counselors while I'm out on maternity, cleaning clothes, folding clothes, putting them away and organizing some more. Not to mention I still need to clean toliets, bathrooms, etc. Ugh, worst favorite things to do. It is totally crazy, but I'm loving it because it keeps my mind off of constantly thinking that I have less than a few weeks left.

Honestly, I'm so ready! I'm ready to meet this precious little baby, I'm ready to not worry anymore about the next day or the next, I'm ready to be a mommy of a newborn, I'm ready for my three kids to see and meet their sister, I'm ready to see what a family of six is going to be and feel like. I'm so ready!

I'm so happy that I have less than two weeks left! This will be a bittersweet feeling because we will be complete and the babymaking will be done and we will be a family of six! Wow! That just sounds crazy to me, but I'm so excited!

Halloween is such a fun time of the year in our family. We all love to dress up and it was so fun this year. We made the very most of it since Halloween was on Sunday this year and celebrated with all our family minus Spence, Mom and Dad. It was a crazy blast @ the Annual Balkman Trunk or treat and our kids got loads of candy, who needs neighborhoods when you got Trunk or treat. :)

It's Been Way to Long.... BYU Weekend

I can't believe I haven't blogged since July, I apologize for not keeping up to date with all the Biggs happenings. I promise to do better, I hope that this is a good start. Yes, Football season has begun which means our household every Saturday is sporting the BYU and OU gear. I change my clothes twice every Saturday just to support both teams, haha! We love it and its fun to pass on the tradition to our kids! Luke is already saying Football and touchdown, its hilarious!

We spent a weekend in Texas with my sister and her family and was able to go to the BYU/TCU game. We had a great weekend and the kids had so much fun! Eventhough BYU lost, we made the most of it! Enjoy the fun pictures! Much love, From TK

Sharlee Kay Dance Recital 2010

Last fall we decided to enroll Sharlee in ballet dance class with all of her girlfriends from church. It was the perfect thing to start the adventure of extracirrcular activities. She had a bawl and ballet fit her naturally, she always looked forward to going. A few months ago was her first ballet recital and it was the cutest thing ever. The girls were called "Beautiful Blossoms" and looked like little fairies! Sharlee loved it so much! Here are a few pictures from her recital:

Day 9 Travel Home

Sorry this took so long to post. We took over 1,000 pictures over 9 days of the most fun we have ever had on a vacation. Thank you for sharing this vacation with us, we have loved your comments, and want to encourage anyone to go do this at least once, we will never forget this and can't wait to go back.

Day 8 Final Day Magic Kingdom

This is our final day at the theme parks, and our second full day at Magic Kingdom. We start the day at one of most famous Disney rides, It's A Small World.

Day 7 (Continued) Magic Kingdom

After Lunch on day 7, there was another show in front of Cinderella's castle. With Mickey and his friends as well as the Disney Princesses and Princes. Here is some pictures before the show. Sharlee is so happy in her new outfit show wore it the whole day. Pictures of the show. Mickey wanted to dance with Minnie with the Disney Princesses, Minnie said, that she wasn't a princess, and Mickey said you have always been a princess to me. ahhhhh. Peter Pan showed up. Of course the Disney Villians had to come, and they needed help from the audience to defeat them. End of the show. Let's ride some rides. Waiting in line for Dumbo. Luke loves his sword. Can you tell who Jon's favorite character is? They changed the Pirate's of the Carribean ride to match the movies. Pretty cool. The Buzz Lightyear Ride. Dinner, Sharlee wasn't shy, she liked the turkey leg. Luke is still entertained. Dance Party with Pluto, Chip, Dale, and Stitch. Luke getting in on the action. Day 7 Finally The Magic Kingdom

This is our first full day at the Magic Kingdom. We had breakfast at the Resort and started the day with Sharlee's Boutique Experience in Cinderella's Castle. Followed by a lunch reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table, also in the Castle. Sharlee looks exactly like Cinderella when she is done, wait until you see these pics.

Here it is finally, Sharlee has been waiting all week for this!

All the stylists are dressed up like the maid servants. Sharlee just sat in the chair, and let them do what ever they wanted, she soaked it all up, in fact she got a little too comfortable and almost fell a sleep. I am going to load this with pics, sorry but this was very cool for Sharlee, and every little girls dream to be a real princess for the day!

Day 6 Resort Day and a Magical Night!

By day 6 we were all sooooo worn out that we decided to spend the day relaxing at our resort, we actually over booked our selves, so we skipped a breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's and decided to sleep in, let the kids watch cartoons, we had a wonderful breakfast at our Resort's Food Court. It was really good, Brayden loves the Mickey waffles! We swam, relaxed by the pool, and had lunch pool side. I turned out to be a really nice and fun day. Here is a picture we took by our resort pool.

After a much needed relaxing day, we were ready for some more. We need to get ready for our dinner reservation. At the Grand Floridian Resort. It's called 1900 Park Fare. We had to get Sharlee ready to meet Cinderella, Prince Charming, Cinderella's wicked Step Mother, and Step Sisters. THIS is Disney's most upscale resort and spa!

Let me take you back to the 1940's with crystal chandeliers, and marble floors, with all the staff dressed in their best. THIS place was really, really nice! We had fun riding the monorail to get there.

The whole family getting ready to leave, it was an awesome buffet dinner, roles to die for, mashed potatoes from heaven, and roasted chicken, fresh cut prime rib, or roast beef, and soft serve ice cream for dessert, all you can eat, all the food here is great!

The Grand Floridan is right next to Magic Kingdom, so we had time to go see a street parade, the Spectro Magic Light Parade, and the out of this world firework show. We saved the most magical park for the last.

That's the end of day 6, what a way to end the night! Day 7 is our first full day at Magic Kingdom, Sharlee's Princess Boutique Experience, just wait until you see the photos, Sharlee is transformed, she was princess for the day, and this certianly was her day.

Day 5 (2nd Day) Hollywood Studios

We loved Hollywood Studios so much we decided to spend an entire 2nd Day there as well. Plus there was more cool stuff to see. We still needed to see the Car stunt show, and ride the most popular ride at Disney called Toy Story Mania. Day 5 was also BYU day! We all wore our BYU T-Shirts.

We came to the park early in the morning to get in right when it opens, if you don't you can't get a fast pass to the popular rides because they run out so fast, if you don't get there early or get a fast pass the average wait time to ride is over 90 minutes long. It's crazy how many people rush in just for this one ride. We got our fast passes, and right next to the ride is a Character spot where we got to meet Buzz Lightyear and Woody. Here is some pics while we are waiting to see them.

The front of the Toy Story Mania ride, crazy how popular that is. One piece of advice, the Buzz Lightyear ride at Magic Kingdom is better! But this is worth going on once, still a lot of fun.

Here is the Car Stunt Show, it shows you how car stunts are done in the movies. It has car chaces, motorcycle chaces, wave runners, shooting, explosions, and pyro technics, one of our favorite shows to see, even better than Indiana Jones!

That's the end of Hollywood Studios, and we are off to dinner at a fancy resort. It's called The Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. It's held at the Polynesian Resort. One of Disney's Luxury Resorts we got to see how the other half lives. Once again very hard to get into but Mommy worked her magic and got us in. Thank goodness for the dinning package, I am not even going to tell you how expensive it would be if we paid for it out right. We got all you can eat earb roasted chicken, bbq ribs, drinks, dessert, all the while watching a polynesian show with dancers from all the polynesian countries, very cool experience, and fantastic food.

That is the end of Day 5. My goodness has it been fun, but we are wasted! If you thought the Polynesian Resort was nice just wait until you see where we ate dinner at the next day. Still going Day 6 is next!

Day 4 Hollywood Studios

Day four was spent at Hollywood Studios. The shows were comparable to Broadway, maybe even better, and the rides here are the best. Brayden had his StarWars expereince here, plus he went on all the big scray rides and loved every minute of it. This was for sure Brayden's day, he loves the Wizard Mickey! Daddy didn't mind it either. I hope you enjoy all these pictures, we enjoyed the experience! In fact it was so fun we spent all of day 5 there as well.

The Rockin Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith! The best roller coaster ever, all indoors. Imagine the sensation of being shot out of a gun, and doing barrel rolls, and upside down loops all in the dark. All the while Aerosmith's Greatest Hits are being blasted in your ears. Daddy had to get a T-Shirt. Very cool!

The Beauty & the Beast Show! Even Brayden liked it.

Are you ready for Brayden's StarWars experience, and Jedi Training! Here it is finally. Brayden was the only one wearing a Jedi costume, we are so glad we brought it. They also had a StarWars ride right next to the show called Star Tours. We got to take a ride through space and see the Death Star be destroyed.

In order to complete his training he needs to fight Darth Vader and resist the Dark Side. Darth Vader is calling them out!

Every little Jedi's dream, using his newly learned skils to fight Darth Vader and beat him. Complete with cool sound effects, this was sooo cool, every little StarWars fan needs to do it.

Now on with the Fantasmic show, we got VIP seats because we had a dinner reservation before the show, and got special tickets. So we were right up front. This by far was our favorite show. Mommy needs to start her own business with planning Disney vacations, she got us into everything. Sorry these are a little blury, flash would not work.

We had bought the kids stuffed Disney Characters, and the maids left us a surprise when we got back to the hotel. Sharlee has the Princess Minnie, Brayden has Wizard Mickey, and Luke has Mickey Mouse.

Day 3- Day at Epcot, Breakfast with the Disney Princesses and much more!

On Day 3 we spent it at Disney's Epcot. Epcot has 2 parts to the park which are Future World and World Showcase. We spent most of our time in Future World because that is where most of the rides are. Epcot had the Flower Gardens and it was just beautiful there! I always wanted to know what was inside the big disco ball and it is actually a ride called Spaceship Earth. We kicked off the morning with a Character breakfast in the country of Norway. The restaurant looked like a castle, it was called Akerhus Banquet Hall (Princess Storybook Dining). It was the best! Check out our day at Epcot!

This is the Flower Gardens right when you walk into the park, it was so cool to see each of the Disney Characters made in flowers!

Akershus Banquet Hall-This is where we ate breakfast, it was so beautiful and one of the best character meals ever!

Epcot was OU day so we all dressed in are Sooner Red! It was so fun!

As you walk into the Banquet hall all the girls stand in line to meet Princess Belle and take a picture with her! Sharlee was in awe!

The most wonderful part of the breakfast dining was seeing the Disney Princesses. We bought the kids autograph books so that they could have the characters signatures and then their pictures. Each one of the princesses came to our table and Sharlee got to take a picture with each one. It was so magical, I was so happy that she got to experience that!

Day 2 Disney's Animal Kingdom!

On Day 2 it was our first full day at Disney's Animal Kingdom. We started our day getting a fast-pass (the best invention by the way) for the African Safari and then headed over to our first Character meal for breakfast at the Tusker House. Our character meal was called Donald's Safari Breakfast, one of the best! We saw Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy and Goofy! It was the best food and so much fun! We got to watch Finding Nemo: The Musical, the Festival of the Lion King, and experienced its Tough to be a bug~! Wow, now that one was scary for the kids. It was such a fun day! Here are some of the fun pictures from the day:

The Festival of the Lion King; this was one of the best shows! Very cool to see Simba, Pumbaa and Timon characters.

This is the view from the bridge of the best ride at Animal Kingdom called Expedition Everest. It is a one of the best rollercoasters ever, Brayden rode it 2 times! He is fearless!

And that was our day at Disney's Animal Kingdom! It was a great first day and the kids were wiped out! But they still had enough energy to want to come back to the hotel and go swimming so that is what we did! :)

Day 1-Arriving in Orlando, FL (Downtown disney and our Disney Resort)

We have been home for one week now and it is has been hard to get back into the swing of life again. We had the time of our lives the past 2 weeks and it has been a trip that we will never forget. The kids and I flew from Dallas to Orlando to meet Jonathan who was already there for work and spent 8 days at all the 4 major Walt Disney theme parks.

The first night we decided to take the kids to Downtown Disney and see all the fun shops, Disney Lego store and have dinner. We were so happy to finally be in Disney!

Here are some of the pictures from our first day in Orlando:

Sharlee and Brayden were so excited to fly in an airplane, it was their first time and they loved it! Sharlee kept telling me that their were Care Bears in the sky and Brayden thought we were going to Space! :)

The kids were so excited to finally get to our resort. We stayed at the All-Star Movie Resorts which had different themed rooms such as Toy Story, 101 Dalamantians, Herbie the Love bug, Fantasia, and Mighty Ducks. So fun for the kids!

Downtown Disney had a huge Lego store, with all sorts of Lego displays! Brayden was in heaven!

The Olympics and YW's!

2010 has started out to be such a great year serving in the Young Women's Organization. This year's theme is Be Strong and of A Good Courage... Joshua 1:9, every year we kick-off with New Beginnings and recognize those girls who are "Pre-hives and welcome them into the YW family.

Well the Winter Olympics happened to be this year and I found a wonderful theme on (of course sugardoodle.net) and incorporated the Olympics into our New Beginnings program. The girls' were so excited; to make the evening special we made the girls' gold medals with the value colors and wrote the mutual theme (Be Strong and of a Good Courage) to remind the girls to not only Stand For Truth and Righteousness but to strive for the Gold (the temple and ultimately return and live with our Heavenly Father again)!

It was a great night and I am so blessed by these YW! They have changed my life and I have learned so much about myself through them and serving the Lord! I can't think of a better place to serve than being with the YOUTH!

It's Snowing in OKLAHOMA!

OKLAHOMA is getting hit pretty hard with ice and snow lately! It's so funny; this is our kids' first snow experience in Oklahoma. We got to enjoy the snow in Utah, but having snow in OK is a real treat! So we decided to bundle the kids up and go outside and play in the snow! Sharlee was so cute; the first thing she wanted to do is make a snowman. Brayden came out later after he watched his Transformers and joined us. We had so much fun and decided to enjoy the crazy weather! Gotta love snow! :) I just don't like ice very much; can handle the snow for awhile! So pretty! Enjoy the pics! ;)

Sharlee decided that she wanted to make a snowman so that is exactly what we did. We tried to make it work; OK's snow was super powdery (I don't know if that is a word) but we got some branches for the arms, got some of Luke's shapes for buttons, M&M's for the mouth, and chex mix for the nose and eyes! Very fun! And the kids' loved it! :)

Camping in the Wichitas!

Last weekend, the weather forecasted in the 50s and 60s so we decided to go camping Friday night and then hike and rappell on Saturday! Friday evening was so nice and crisp. We gathered wood and ended up with BIL (Kit's) gashed head but we ended up with a nice fire and the kids loved it. We stayed warm and had treats and had some yummy smores!

We stayed up and chatted and sure enough when the lights were out and the fire was dying down the raccoons came out to join us! Wish I had a picture, but you can only imagine what I did. After the crazy creature ran away it was time for bed time! We have a two-room tent with a pillow-top mattress (yes, that is my kind of camping). We stayed warm and the kids slept like babies, however we heard some hacking and sure enough it was Sharlee Kay covered in throw up! It was raining pretty hard so I had to use baby wipes to wipe her down.

Saturday morning we woke up and had bacon, eggs, sausage, OJ, oranges, and some hot chocolate. Nice yummy breakfast! Packed camp up and waited for the Choates and Shan and Briggie to get there! Mt. Scott closed most of the day due to the weather and fog so that meant no Rappelling, but ended up doing some hiking in the mean time and making the most of it. Finally, they opened up Mt. Scott mid-day and we were able to tour the site! So fun and beautiful! Here are some of the pictures that we took of our first camping experience in 2010!

After Christmas, we were waiting for it to snow and it Finally did! There was snow on the ground when we got there but it had been there for awhile. One day it snowed all day so it was that fresh powdery snow that we love and so we decided to bundle all the kids up and go outside and play in it!

Well of course we ended up having Snowball fights/brought out all the sleds! Went down the hill in Mom and Dad's back ground. Jumped on the snowy Trampoline; made snow angels, tackled Matthew in the snow, Tam and I tried to snowboard down the hill (didn't work so much) Tam bit the dust so many times! :) We were laughing so hard, but man it hurt bad!

And then of course sweet Mom that she is made hot Chocolate for everyone and butter cookies! It was divine! Gotta Love Utah Snow! Now that is what I call PRICELESS!

Utah Christmas Vacation Part 1

Christmas 09' we decided to haul the family to Utah! We literally packed up all our stockings, gifts for family, all the gifts for the kids, etc. We filled the car to the max, it was so fun! We could hardly wait to go and so glad that we got to spend two full weeks with the family! It was such a memorable Christmas that we will truly be talking about for years to come, but what precious memories they are! I cried half way home and then Jon took up the latter end of the trip! :) So hard to leave! Here are some of the pictures of the first part of our Utah trip:

We had our ward Christmas party a few weeks ago! The kids could hardly wait to see Santa and sit on his lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. We were worried about Sharlee because last year she ran away crying so we were hoping for the best! But you won't believe it, our one year-old son sat on Santa's lap with no problems at all this year! In fact, he loved it and was touching his beard and everything! so cute! Well this is Brayden's best friend, Trayne. Brayden and Trayne have known each other since they were babies. They became the best of buddies in Pre-K (4 years old) and have been by eachother's side since. We are so grateful that Brayden has someone like Trayne in his life and we look forward to many more years of friendship with these two boys! :)

I am so over due in the blogging world! The last month has flown bye and now I have a minute to relax and sit and do some blogging. Thanksgiving was so much fun and we spent it with the Revell's/Choate's/Williams/and Mom and Dad Bittle Family! Dad cooked a crispy deep fried Turkey and we had all the fixings. Yummy! Papa got out all the rappelling gear for the kids to rapel off the side of the house. The kids were in heaven and had a blast! Here are a few pictures from our Thanksgiving 2009:

I can't believe that it has been two months since I have blogged. There has been so much happening in the Biggs family and I have been so bad about not posting. However, there is a good excuse. My camera has DIED! I have been without a camera for two months now. So no pics and if any of you have used your phone as a camera know that the pictures never turn out great!

So tonight, I took the plunge and bought a NEW CAMERA! I am so happy, no more bulky camera that is going to die on me! I am so excited and now I get to take pictures again! So be checking back here soon! Loves to all!

ONCE IN A LIFETIME...

Football has begun and we are completely crazy about it! We love it! So this year OU was scheduled to open there season and play BYU, well we were all over it. We live in Soonerville so of course we had to go to the game. The game was played in the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium so we decided to buy our tickets.

Jon and our two boys (Brayden and Luke) were decked out in their BYU Blue and Sharlee and I sported our OU Red! I thought for sure OU was going to dominate the entire game but the Lord's team (BYU) pulled out a win and it was completely amazing. I couldn't help but cheer on the Cougars eventhough I was wearing red. It was such an awesome experience that of course I started to get some tears! This just never happens to the Sooners!

Since we have been home, Jonathan has been on cloud nine! He is just loving it and soaking it all up. I think he is still in shock, we missed the Sunday after the game. So this past Sunday he had the biggest smile on his face and sported his Blue/white tie in church. Gotta love it, when you are surrounded by Sooner fans! :)He has watched the game over and over again and still to him it is as exciting as the first time. It is still on the DVR List!

Sharlee Kay wanted to go to school so bad this year and I had to tell her 1 more year sis! So I decided to enroll her in a ballet class instead. She goes once a week for 45 minutes and she loves it. It is perfect for her and she was so happy to finally be a ballerina! :)

Luke recently turned 10 months old! I know right it is so hard to believe. We are loving this stage of him. He was doing the army crawl for awhile and now he is full on crawling all over the house. It is so fun to watch his eyes get so excited when he sees new toys to play with. I feel like I am constantly picking up lego pieces, crumbs from the kids, and tiny little objects because he is starting to put things in his mouth. Oh well, I guess that is a part of it. Football season has started, which in the Biggs family we are crazy about. It is on from Saturday until Monday! We love it and recently Luke has started to clap his hands which is so funny to see. Because for so long his little hands were still curled up in a tight fist, so he has finally spread those cute little hands of his. I have been teaching him touchdown, it is so fun to watch! I have a 1st grader! I can't even believe it, he is growing up way too fast. This morning was the First Day of School and he was so excited. I have never seen a little boy get a shower, eat breakfast, get dressed so fast in my life. It was so funny! Of course I had to manage to squeeze in some pictures this morning.

Sharlee this morning, "I am going to Pre-K today Mommy! I am so excited!" It was so sweet, she can't wait to go to school. Next year I will have two kids in school, it is so hard to believe. So it is me, Sharlee and Luke. Sharlee is going to be lost without her big brother, they have become such good friends. So I have enrolled her in ballet and we start in two weeks! Yay!

So I decided before school started to take the kiddos on one last mini road trip to Denton, TX. We went to go see my sister Mindy and her family. The kids couldn't wait to go see their Jack Jack and Joshie, it was a great time! Some of the things that we did:

Sharlee Kay is the only daughter that I have at the current moment so it is so much fun to spend time with her and do fun things just the two of us.

We decided to have a Mommy-daugther day! We did everything girly, it was such a blast! I took Sharlee for the very 1st time to go get her toe nails painted. The ladies were so nice to her and put cute little flowers on her big toe. The first thing she said was: "Mommy my toes are so CUTE!"

Sharlee's favorite thing to eat is chicken, everything chicken so we went to Chick Fil-A her favorite place to eat because it has Chicken! And then off and did some shopping.

It was so great to be able to spend this time with my precious little daugther, she is such a big girl now. What a great day!

The New Lego Store!

This past weekend we experienced going to the Grand Opening of the Lego Store. We signed up for Brayden to get the Lego Magazine every month and now we get all sorts of news about everything Legos. If you went on the Grand Opening days the kids got to help build an 8 ft. R2D2. Of course Brayden wanted to go check it out and help build it so we did and it was really cool. We had to stand in line for a while to even get inside the Lego store; but it was worth it in the end. The kids had a blast and got to pick some pretty cool Legos. So fun!

Road Trip to Everywhere!

At the beginning of July as a family we set out on a long road trip to Boise, Idaho for the Bittle Family Reunion. Some of the family weren't able to attend but we decided to make the long journey. The first stop was Cheyenne,Wyoming where we stayed with our family the Gadbury's. It was so great to see them and have the kiddos play out in the country and not worry about them at all. They had so much fun with the Gadbury boys and seeing everyone and being able to sit on a horse for the first time. Sharlee was in heaven!

After Cheyenne, we had 12 more hours to reach Boise. We finally made our way to Grandma Bittle's house and saw the whole family. We had so much fun with our wild an crazy family. Some of the things that we got to do were gun shooting, float the Boise River, go to the lake and ride on wave runners, BBQ, light fireworks off every night, had a huge 4th of july show, Memorial for Grandpa Bittle and much more. Thanks for a wonderful Reunion that I will never forget!

After the family reunion, Jon flew home and I traveled to West Bountiful, Utah with the kids to see the Biggs family. It was nice to spend a few days with them. We got to shop at Ikea, attend an open house of the Oquirrah Mountain Temple, and spend time with cousins. It was a blast!

After Utah, I met up with my mom and dad and we headed for Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We got to stay at the Springs Resort and sit and relax in the amazing hot springs. What a trip! It was so worth it.

We traveled over 3,600 miles went to 9 different states and was gone 11 days. I will never forget this road trip, my kids are angels to go all that way with me. They did such a great job! Here is are some of the pictures from the trip, Enjoy!

A Sprinkle of Fairy Dust...

So my friend and I decided to throw are little girlies a cute little Tinkerbell birthday party. Sharlee's friend and her are only three days apart so we decided to combined the party and it was so amazingly fun! I have never seen some many little girls dressed up in their cute little fairy costumes, it was so adorable! Here are a few pictures:

8 Years!

Today, 8 years ago Jon and I were married in the Salt Lake City Temple. It was the most beautiful day ever with so many of our friends and family around us. I can't believe that it has been 8 years, it truly goes by so very fast.

8 years later... We have had three beautiful children, graduated from college, bought our first home, and have a successful job! I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband who supports me and loves me unconditionally. I love you Jonathan Thomas Biggs! Here's to many more wonderful years together.

Easter Weekend

So this Easter seemed to be more crazy than other Easter's. It started off Friday with baking Easter cookies w/ Sharlee Kay while Jon and Brayden went to go get our new trampoline. Another long story (one guess Oklahoma wind), anywho so it was fun baking cookies and I made my own frosting. Wow, never do that. After cookie making we had a popcorn and movie night with the kids.

Saturday morning we woke up and had soccer practice with Brayden, a movie date with Grandma going to see Monsters vs. Aliens (so nice while we ran some errands) and then off to a big Ward Easter Egg hunt out in the country. The kids had a fun day but exhausted.

Then we woke up Easter morning to the Easter bunny and had a wonderful sabbath day with family as we remembered our Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for his sacrifice and know that he truly does LIVE TODAY! I hope all of you had a wonderful Easter! Love to all!

Kindergarten Program

Last week was Brayden's Kindergarten program and it was such a cute performance. I can't believe that I am even old enough to have a child in Kindergarten, it was truly a proud moment in my life as Brayden's mommy. I loved watching him sing at the top of his lungs and have his little shy moments whenever he saw his family in the audience. He did such a great job and we were so impressed with all the kindergarten classes. All the kids were awesome, we couldn't believe that they even remembered the hand motions while singing. I will never forget Brayden's Kindergarten program, I loved every minute of it! Love you son!

On the Road Again...

This past weekend we traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico to visit Jonathan's little sister Joy and the rest of the clan. Joy and Jeff invited us to come out for our sweet new edition Bella Grace's baby blessing. As the weekend came we noticed that there was going to be a major snow storm traveling through Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. Scary stuff, right? yeah, so we tried to beat the storm and left Thursday because the weather man said that it would hit Friday.

So we are driving down I-40 East and then all of a sudden 30 minutes past the New Mexico border the blizzard hits us Thursday evening. We didn't think the South west got such bad weather, so we decided to make a decision and sleep over at a Holiday Inn ($100 later, which we found out that we could have gotten a discount if Jon had his federal badge), totally not prepared to spend the night in the hotel. The kids didn't mind at all, they were loving it which made the situation better.

On Friday morning we woke up and realized that it had snowed all night long and the little small town of Tucamcari, NM had over a foot of snow. Crazy! We realized after breakfast, (yummy breakfast) Holiday Inn Rocks! that 1-40 ended up closing both eastbound and westbound. What the heck? So we were stuck, until our wonderful brother-in-law kept us updated on the roads every hour and let us know that the roads were finally open again. Hooray!

So we finally made it to Albuquerque and we were so glad to see Joy and Jeff and their fun kids. Our kids had a blast and our Sharlee got to play with her girl cousins! :) Yeah for girls! I love you Courtney and Jessie, you guys were the best. You made Sharlee feel so at home and got to play with all the girl toys. Loved it! We did some fun things, like having authentic New mexico style mexican food, oh and can't forget Sonic Run (Biggs chicks tradition), went to Old Town and bought some souveniers and then had the Bella's baby blessing and a fun party after. Thanks you guys, so fun in New Mexico!

ABOUT LUKE...

So a couple of weeks ago, we had Luke's 4 month check-up and did the whole routine weight, measuring of the length and head. Well he was completely off the charts and below 3% of the average weight, length and head. I was stunned and felt so bad. My little Luke weighed 10 lbs. 15 oz. at 4 months. I didn't understand it, so we checked him for reflux because I explained to my peditrician that he pooks up everything. And sure enough he had it, so he has been on two different medications. He is taken an acid reducer and a gastro reflex medication. We have never had a baby that did this, except now looking back I think Brayden had reflux when he was a baby.

So Luke has been on his medicine for 2 weeks now and is doing so much better. We have been supplementing with a fantastic formula from Sam's club (I love bulk), breastfeeding morning and night and we have started rice cereal. He loves that stuff and I swear I can't stop shoveling it in, sometimes I feel like I was starving the poor kid. This transition has definitely made my life and little Luke's life so much simpler. And like my mom always says, "Simplify your Life."

Luke's weight check-up was yesterday and in 12 days he now weighs 11 lbs. 12 oz. We couldn't be more happier for him and we are so glad that nothing else was wrong. We love our little biggs and our so grateful each and every day for our sweet little Luke.

Since Luke has been born, Brayden has wanted Luke to have his very own lightsaber. Go figure since the name is "Luke." Little Luke Skywalker! So Brayden thought that it would be a good idea for Luke to hold his lightsaber, I couldn't stop laughing. So fun, gotta love big brothers!

Sharlee was trying to get dressed for the day and decided to attempt to dress herself. It was too funny to not pass up the opportunity of getting a picture of her, so cute my sweet girl. She loves getting dressed by herself and she even knows how to put her own shoes on now. She is such a girly girl and makes me laugh everyday.

We were enjoying a fun day at the park with the kids and decided to capture this shot of Luke, he loves being outside. Such a cutie!

We had an ice storm a while back and the kids played on it in our backyard. Brayden had so much fun that he decided to push Sharlee Kay around in a laundry basket down the hill of ice. They had a blast!

Luke is 3 months old today! It is so hard to believe that he is at the stage of his life where smiles, coos, has a little personality, and has these moments of awake time where he lays and kicks his legs and is just happy. I love it! He is definitely reminding me a lot of Brayden boy, just that calm even tempered baby but then again he has a lot of Sharlee in the way that he demands your attention and loves to held all the time and wails at the top of his lungs. :) I love my sweet little Luke. Happy 3 months!

Health, Family, Trials

It seems like this month has been one thing after another. One sick child, then another and then another. One sick parent and then one injured parent. It is like this constant struggle and it seems like it is never ending. All in the same month we have had diarrhea, vomit, head injury, scarlet fever, strep throat, cough, sore throat, runny nose, fever, headache, pink eye, broncialitis, lack of sleep, energy, the list goes on. It has been one big trial and it is so easy to ask myself, "Why Me?" Why am I having to go through this trial right now?

It is hard to look sometimes on the bright side when you feel like you are battling with the impossible but that is just it, it isn't impossible and I can get through it and my children will get better but it is how I have learned to deal with it all in the process. I have really had to look inside myself this past month and rely more on my Heavenly Father than I have had to do in a long time. So what is the lesson in all of this? We are not alone, and despite the trials in life our heavenly father is always there for us if we but come unto him and rely on him. I can not rely on my own wisdom, and I can't do it alone. Eventhough this month has been hard dealing with illness, fatigue, and injury; I love my family and I am so grateful to have them by my side through these trials and challenges. And this to shall pass...

First Visit to ER...

Monday night was one of the most scariest nights of my life. Oklahoma has been getting ice, rain, snow, and mix of sleet and before it got worse I wanted to go get stuff to make chili. I thought on a cold winter's evening it would be perfect, so I feed the baby and leave him with Jon. I walk out my front door and the first step I take I slip and fell back on my rear and my head hit the cement. I blacked out for a few minutes and remained there on the cold icy cement until I was able to get up and go inside.

When I stood up I felt my head and sure enough I had blood all over my hands and it was starting to come out really fast. If you have ever had a head injury it is really hard to stop the bleeding and looks really bad than it really is. So I was panicking and it took about an hour to get the bleeding under control. In the mean time Jon is checking my wound and he says it is bad and that I need to go to the ER. I am freaking out at this point. The roads are icy, my kids are sick, what do I do? So my brave brother-in-law, Kit C has the big beast of a 4x4 truck and drives to our house to watch our three children while Jon and I go to the ER. I have never been to the ER before and I became really scared.

When the doctor admitted me he checked my wound and told me that I would need staples in my head. I said, "What, excuse me say that again? STaples? You have got to be kidding me. I have never had any such thing like that in my body, the most I have ever had to have was stitches when I had a baby and those dissolve, but staples I was balling and curled up into the fetal position. I have never been so terrified in my entire life. Then after he tells me what they are going to do, I see the NEEDLE, I hate needles, I hate IV's anything with needles freaks me out. So he takes the needle and numbs the area, I scream, and then he gets the stapler and tells me that i have to have 4 staples, Ugh! The sound of it was enough, it was awful and then when he was done. He walked out of the room and left me with blood gushing out of my head and all down my neck and clothes. I was so furious! How dare they? So Jon cleans me up and the nurse comes and gets me and takes me down to get a CT scan. What I say? This is just too much for me to handle, so I get the CT scan and the doctor tells me I have a concussion. A concussion me, no way, I didn't even play football that day, that is only supposed to happen when you are playing contact sports. No, but me slipping on some stupid ice. I was like this is ridiculous, so they gave me some pain meds and I went home.

My sweet brother rocked my baby back to sleep the whole time I was gone and he was fine and the rest of my family was just fine while I was gone. (Thank you Kit C from the bottom of my heart) I was so worried about little Luke the entire time, because I nurse him and he was just fine and ate like a champ when I got home. This is definitely an experience I will never forget and looking back I swear it is just my luck. But like my daddy says, "I have a really hard head." The staples will come out next week, and for now as my hubby says "I am one hot chick with staples in my head." :) Thanks for all your love, sweet words, kindness, prayers, and just being the great friends and family that I you are. A Month In Review

It has been a long time since I have been on little bloggerville. There has been a lot that has happened. So I will give a quick update.

CHRISTMAS 2008:
We had a great Christmas this year and was so much fun. The big thing this year was Nintendo DS, which Brayden has wanted ever since our visit to Arizona this summer seeing his cousin Carter have one. :) Sharlee's was a princess tricycle, she was so excited about. And then our big family gift was the trampoline, yipee! We have had so much fun with it.

Also in the month of December I was called to be the YW President. Yikes! I told myself and do school and take care of three children and just had a baby. Wow! But the Lord truly knows us and I am so grateful for his trust in me. I am so excited about it! :)

A New Year 2009:

Wow! What a year it has been already; we had Jon's parents fly into town on New's Years Day and Jon's brother Scott and his family come and stay with us for Luke's baby blessing. 12 people all under the same little 1095 sq. foot home. Crazy huh? Yes, but such a blast. We always have so much fun with Scott and Jen and their kiddos and it was such a treat to have mom and dad here with us. love you so.

So 2009, Jan. 4th we blessed Luke Steven Biggs and it was such a great day with friends and family. He is growing so quickly and has started to share his personality with us. He is full of gas and is having some difficulty with it, and it has been hard on me but we will get through.

Jan 20th Jon will start a new job! Yea! He will no longer be a contractor, he is now a federal employee and his under the government control. :) We are so happy, and it is such a blessing especially in this economy and the way it has shaped up for many people. WE are so grateful! So that's enough of us, Here are some pics of what we have been doing:

Chocolate Lovers!

So today my sisters, my mom and I did some holiday baking. We each come up with 1-2 things to make and pass out to friends, Home teaching families, people we visit teach, etc. We have a lot of fun remembering past baking experiences, crying, laughing, all while listening to our favorite Christmas music.

Well last year I attempted to make Peanut Butter fudge, because Jonathan loves it so. And his mom makes the best, so I tried it and totally failed. It turned out like a cake! :) I was so sad, so this year I went on cooks.com (it is my new favorite thing) and got an easy fudge recipe. So I tried it today, I mean honestly how can you fail with only 5 ingredients. Well it is amazing and too die for, so for all you chocolate lovers out there here is my new favorite fudge recipe.

EASY PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE FUDGE
1 (12 oz) pkg. peanut butter flavor chips
1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped peanuts (optional)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

In large saucepan, melt peanut butter chips, 1 cup sweetened condensed milk and 2 tablespoons butter, stir occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in peanuts. Spread mixture into wax paper-lined 8-inch square pan.

In small saucepan, melt chocolate morsels, remaining condensed milk and butter. Spread chocolate mixture on top of peanut butter mix. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off paper and cut into squares. Tightly cover any leftovers. Yummy! I left out of the peanuts, but if you love them then go ahead and add them! Enjoy! So it has been 1 month since Luke was born and it has been a whirl wind of craziness in the Biggs family. In the midst of having Luke I have also had to finish the semester. I don't know how I did or made it through but the semester is over, thank heavens. Can I get a alleluia?

This past month has flown by so fast because all the days are running together at this point with no sleep, barely finding time to eat, get a shower, and my house has gone by the wayside. Now can I ask how do we do it all? :) What was I thinking?

But at the end of the day it is all worth it because I am truly grateful to be a mother of three beautiful and healthy children. So I want to give a shout out to the women in my life my mom, mother-in-law, sisters, sister-in-laws,aunts, girlfriends, Grandmothers, and great-grandmothers thank you, thank you. You are truly amazing!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a large group of about 20 people for Thanksgiving this year at my parent's home. It was such a wonderful day and beautiful weather. The food was absolutely amazing. It was our first year to deep fry a Turkey, oh man was it delicious. I made my double layer pumpkin pie and a yummy Crumble Apple pie that is so to die for. We ate leftovers for days. Everything was so yummy! We also made a large leave pile and took some pictures. It was so great to spend Thanksgiving with friends and family. We hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving too.

Mom, Dad, my Great Uncle Tom, my Great Aunt Justina. They traveled all the way from Casper, Wyoming to spend Thanksgiving with our family. It was so wonderful to see them again, we love you guys.

Grammie and Lyle. Grammie got married a few weeks ago and they are now living here in Norman. He is such a nice man and we are so happy for the both of them.

Briggie and Shan, Kit later surprised Shana. Shana thought he would have to work on Thanksgiving but he ended up making it back in time. We were so happy that he was here with us.

Kit's brother and his family drove up from Houston, TX to spend Thanksgiving with all of us. It was so much fun having them here with us this year. Love you guys!

Luke is 2 weeks old today!

Luke is 2 weeks old and now weighs more than he did at birth. He is definitely thriving and is doing so well. We have introduced the pacificer and he loves it. It has been a lifesaver for me, however he still loves the real thing a little bit too much. I swear I constantly feel dehydrated, but it is so worth it. I can't believe that it has been already a week since I gave birth to Luke. He has already changed so much, it is amazing. He has been such a great baby which has been so nice for me. He sleeps great and eats and poops a ton. He is just perfect. It still seems so surreal that I am a mommy of three kids. Sometimes I have a hard time wrapping my brain around it.

I swear I haven't cried so much after having a baby in my life, I seriously cry at everything and have been so sensitive to everything. Is that normal? This recovery has been good, but my back is so sore still from my epidural. The milk is in and flowing like crazy. So sore! :) However, I can't wait to see what the next few weeks brings, I can only reflect on how thankful at this time I am for such a great family and a wonderful husband.

Jon has cooked, cleaned, done loads of laundry, folded laundry, gets brayden ready for school in the morning, cleaned dishes, my house, changed poopie diapers on both kids, Master burper in the middle of the night. I could not have done any of this without him by my side. It has been so nice having him home, and I am dreading the day he returns back to work.

Luke Steven Biggs was born November 12, 2008 and weighed in at 7 lbs. 12 oz. 19 in. long. It was a fairly easy delivery and he was ready to come quick. We are so happy that he is here with us and Sharlee and Brayden just can't get enough of him. The nurses tested him and they said that he was a PERFECT 10! We are so happy and glad to be home with our little family. More pictures to come later. Love you all.

The Day has come!

Tonight at midnight we will be going in to the hospital to have our new baby boy! Last night I could not believe that the day was finally here and I was sleeping in my bed for the last time for a couple of days. It all hit me and I became so nervous, and pray that everything goes well. I just wanted to send a little shout out to all of you before the days and nights get really hectic! We will post pics of the baby later on. Thanks to all our friends and family who have been so gracious and supportive we feel your love everyday. Love you all and wish me luck! Pray lots! :)

Happy Halloween...Trick or Treat!

We had such a great Halloween this year! It was so much fun trick or treating with our kids, they loved it. I swear it was double the candy this year but Jon and I don't mind because we eat it too. :) The weather in Oklahoma was in the mid 70's which is crazy for this time of year. So here is some of the fun that we had on Halloween.

Brayden decided that he wanted to be a Superhero this year, so he was Batman The Dark Knight. He was so cute! I'm Batman! :)

It was Red Ribbon week at Brayden's school and on Friday all the kids got to dress up in their costumes for Halloween and have their class parties. I am a parent-volunterr in Brayden's class and helped with his class party. We had a good time! :) Brayden loved the food!

My brother Spencer was the Joker from the movie The Dark Knight and Brayden was The Dark Knight, it was so awesome to get a picture of the two of them. Why so serious? :)

Now that Halloween is done and over with, it is time to have a BABY! I can't handle it anymore, I am so ready. 10 more days to go! :)

27 Years Later!

I can't believe that 27 years has gone bye. I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful memories and experiences that I have had throughout my life. I am so grateful to goodly parents who shaped the course of my life. I am blessed with such a loving husband, great kids, and wonderful friends and family.

My family threw me a wonderful birthday party and made my day so special. It was so nice and relaxing and that is all that I needed. I had my birthday lunch with my lil sis Mindy Jo and then we had the party at my Mom and Dad's house and did some pumpkin carving. We had a great time! It was a great birthday!

The WEEKEND!

After the BYU game we decided to detour to Shreveport to spend some extra time with family. Brayden had fall break this past weekend and I wanted to have one last family vacation before Baby Luke comes into town! :) We had a great time! Here are some pictures of the weekend.

A Moment In Time....

This past weekend we took a trip to Fort Worth, TX to go to the BYU football game. Our good friends the Cullimore's were able to get us some good tickets to the BYU game. Thanks so much to Kirk and his aunt we were able to go and have a great time. Jon and I took the kids and cheered on the Cougars and even though they lost the game, we had such a great time hanging out at the Cougar Tailgating party, meeting Cosmo, eating good food, hanging with family and friends, and meeting one of Jon's favorite football players, TY Detmer. It was a blast! Here are some of the pictures from the BYU experience.

As we were in line waiting to get our food I pointed out to Jon that there was TY Detmer signing autographs. He immediately bought a BYU football and ran over to him to sign it and he signed his BYU visor that he was wearing. He was like a little kid in a candy store. It was such a great moment for him. Here is Scott, TY Detmer, and Jonathan all doing the Heisman stance. This is priceless!

After dinner the BYU cheerleaders did a rally and it was so cool to watch. I have a special place in my heart for cheerleaders! :) They were great!

After tailgating it was off to the game. Here is a picture of Brayden and I right before the game. He was so excited, I have never seen my son yell so loud for a football team. It was hysterical, He would yell words like Beat TCU, DEFENSE, BYU is #1. JON was loving it!

31 Weeks Pregnant!

I finally decided to post a picture of me showing off the pregnant belly! :) I never have pictures of me pregnant so here's to all my family and friends who I don't get to see very often. So far it has been a great pregnancy, no problems at all so that has been great. I can't believe how fast the time goes, but I am ready for little baby Luke to join our family. November 12th is the day of INDUCTION, YEAH! 9 more weeks to go! Love to all.

Camping Trip!

We went camping as a family on Labor Day to Lake Murray in Ardmore, OK. I finally have the chance to sit down and actually blog the pictures from our fun little trip. The kids had so much fun and it was so nice to go camping together. We did some fishing, played in the lake, collected rocks and little shells, made a little bonfire, had tin-foil dinners and smores, and a yummy breakfast. It was great fun, so here are a few pictures!

This is a picture of Lake Murray. It was so nice because we camped right next to the lake so all we had to do is walk down from our camping site. It was great and the lake is so clean and clear. :)

Last week our garage flooded due to our washer. I was home by myself when it happened and it was an absolute mess. Luckily it was just in the garage and not on the carpet but still such a pain. It was going to cost us so much money to fix it so we decided to upgrade to the very nice LG Tromm Front load washer and dryer. It is so amazing, I just stare at it and watch it beep at me. It is so great and will make my life of doing laundry so much easier. I recommend front loaders to anyone with a big family, and ours is not getting any smaller. I thought I would share my prize posession! :)

First Day of Kindergarten!

Back to School for the Little Biggs. He was so excited this morning to get ready and go to school. He is in all day Kindergarten, and his teacher is so sweet and I am so happy that he got a great teacher this year. It was hard for me to let him go this morning, I gave him a huge hug and then he was on his way. When I picked him up today he was so happy to see me which made me feel so good. He was so funny, He said; "Mom, that was such a long day." I think it might take him a while to get use to it but he will have a blast. Here are a few pictures before we went to school this morning.

GO USA OLYMPICS!

We have been watching the Olympics every evening and then I tape them during the day. Last night was amazing for the USA Women's Gymnastics All-Around Final. This is one of my favorite events to watch. It was intense and very dramatic, because the Chinese have dominated in the Gymnastics department. So I was so excited to see that Lutkin won Gold and Then Shawn Johnson won silver so the USA went 1 and 2. So awesome. And on top of that watching the swimming, oh my heck even better and more exciting to watch. I love watching Michael Phelps, he is seriously like Superman he has already won 6 gold medals and broken the World record time every time he swims. He is amazing. He has 2 more events to swim, it is just so much fun to watch. I love the Summer Olympics! GO USA.

Frontier City!

This past weekend we went to Frontier City with our good friends Phil and Toni and there son Trayne. We had so much fun with them. Frontier City is like a small version of Lagoon out in Utah. The kids had a lot of fun and Brayden got to experience the ride of his life. He rode on his very first rollercoaster, I swear for being a little guy he sure is a daredevil. It's hard to see Jon and Brayden but this was the rollercoaster going up the hill, it was called the Steel Lasso. Brayden rode it 6 times!! He loved it!

Sharlee Kay's Big Girl Room!

We finally put Sharlee Kay in a Big Girl bed and bought her some bedding for her new bed and rearranged her room. It took her about a week or so to get the hang of sleeping in a big bed, but she now loves and crawls in and out of her bed and says, "I'm awake Mom!" It is so cute! Here are a few pictures of her new bedroom.

And there you have it. It was a lot of fun to decorate it and change everything around. I will post pictures of Brayden's new room later, the two boys will be in there but I haven't quite finished it yet. More pics to come.
